77.9%

AR on both sides over 6 days. Fynqa and the PSP’s back-office report agree: 14,666 of 18,829.

96% less

Alert noise. About 350 messages in 19 days became about 13 immediate messages.

3.18M USD

Recoverable-type failed value surfaced over 90 days, counted once per customer.

Payments analysed since Dec 2024, rebuilt from 3.4M gateway documents.

Data about 10 seconds behind the gateway.

The problem

The gateway shows that it failed. Not why.

Blended AR lies

A 67.6% blend can hide Visa at 78% and Mastercard at 52%.

Every connector words declines differently

Free text, one set per connector. Fynqa maps them into 9 groups and says who can act.

3ds_timeoutAuth expiredchallenge not doneAuthentication

Documents are not payments

Status polls can write ten "waiting" documents per payment. In live data, 678 stuck payments looked like 26,849 records.

"We mute the alert chat"

About 350 messages in 19 days, so people muted the chat. The same period now sends about 13 immediate messages.

Cascading is on. Nothing retries.

Flagged on 5.8% of payments, never actually retried. A configuration gap, found in the data.

3 of 7 is not a trend

A daily % on 3 to 30 attempts swings 30 to 60 points. Fynqa always shows n and hides cells under 30 results.

How it works

Four steps. No write access anywhere.

Fynqa reads your gateway’s transaction store. It never writes back: no refunds, no routing or config changes.

  1. 1

    Connect read-only

GET only, IP-whitelisted. Fynqa requests an allowlist of non-personal fields. It never writes back.

  2. 2

    Rebuild every payment

Redirect, 3DS and sale become one payment. Synced about every 10 seconds, reconciled nightly.

  3. 3

    Watch and alert

Critical alerts post to Telegram at once. Warnings go into a 09:00 and 17:00 summary.

  4. 4

    Recover

Each decline group says who can act. Recoverable value counts once per customer. A person approves every change.

92% vs 81%

One BIN, a better MID

Over 563 results. About 222 more successful payments, about 11,300 USD, in 30 days by routing it there.

3DS lift on cards

77.6% with 3DS, 70.1% without, on one base. Apple Pay excluded so it does not skew.

49% vs 60%

Big tickets fail more

500 USD and up against under 250 USD. Tickets of 250 USD and up are 3.7% of payments and 25.5% of volume.

The first attempt decides

7.7% of customers whose first deposit attempt failed try again. 2.5% end up paying.

The why behind a weak MID

10 of 13 declines in one day were 3DS timeouts or failed challenges.

Roadmap

Ask it why.

The daily post already gives a reason line for any MID 3+ points below its own 7-day level. Plain-language questions come next. A person authorises every fix.

Why is Visa AUD low today?
9 of 14 declines were 3DS timeouts or failed challenges on one MID. That points to 3DS with the provider, not the issuer.Suggested: raise the 3DS timeout with the provider. Compare the same BINs on your best MID.

Built for high-risk

MCC 7995 rules, built in

Read-only by design

GET only, IP-whitelisted. No refunds, no routing or config changes. A person approves every change.

No names, emails or card numbers

Phones, addresses, IPs and expiry stay out too. Masked PANs leaked into decline texts are stripped on arrival.

Hard declines stay hard

04, 14, 41/43, 54, 57, 62 are never retried or rerouted. Scheme retry fees and Visa VAMP exposure are not worth it.

FAQ

Questions PSPs ask first

What data do you need, and how does it connect?

Read access to your gateway’s transaction data. Fynqa requests an allowlist of non-personal fields, GET only, from whitelisted IPs. Nothing writes back.

Which gateways do you work with?

Any gateway whose transaction data we can read via API, index or export. The first integration is live on a white-label gateway.

What about personal data?

Fynqa does not request names, emails, phones, addresses, IPs, card numbers or expiry. A one-way card fingerprint groups one customer’s attempts and is never shown. Masked PANs that a provider leaks into decline texts are stripped on arrival.

Where is it hosted, and how is it secured?

Read-only access from whitelisted IPs, and only allowlisted non-personal fields are stored. Ask us for hosting details for your setup.

How long until first dashboards?

In about two weeks from read access.

What does it cost?

First, what is one point of AR worth to you? At 4M EUR in monthly approved deposits and 74% AR, it means about 54,000 EUR more approved volume a month. Run your own numbers, then book 20 min. We tailor pricing to your setup and go through it on the call.
